The Puffin Hydrotherapy Pool is fully wheelchair friendly from it's entrance and reception area to it's changing rooms and pool. The pool has a hoist for helping users to get in and out of the pool.
The pool has two main changing areas. Each area has one toilet suitable for all and an adjustable changing bed. The changing rooms also has lockers to keep your belonging safe while using the pool. There is also a decent sized showering area.
The warm pool can be used by mentally and physically disabled people to exercise and improve their quality of life. Hydrotherapy also helps to speed recovery from injury at work and sport and offers a great way of exercising and promoting good health.
Wouldn’t miss it for the world, it’s a friendly meeting place!

Water Temperature: The water is maintained at 34.5° which is optimal for therapeutic benefit in many clinical conditions.
Buoyancy of the Water: The water takes the weight off aching backs and limbs giving great pain relief. The buoyancy also gives wheelchair users a chance to discover freedom from their chairs for a time.
The Physiotherapist’s: are available to asses and give you advice on appropriate exercises to improve mobility, flexibility, strength and help relieve pain.
Therapeutic Atmosphere: Allows clients to perform relaxation exercises in a friendly quiet location or just unwind for a while.
