Puffin Pool Users Group
This is a small but important part of the smooth running of the Puffin Pool. It provides the opportunity for pool users to voice ideas for improvement, or to raise any issues or concerns. The Chairperson, currently Nina Campbell, is the only official position on the group and provides feedback to and from the formal Puffin Pool Board.
The User Group meets 4 times a year, for approximately an hour, and everyone who is a pool user is welcome to come along. You can choose to attend once, or regularly if you wish. Notification of the meetings are displayed on the electronic noticeboard at the pool and will also be published on our website and Facebook page.
Details of the next meeting are
Date: Tuesday 25th June 2019
Place: Highland Rheumatology Unit, Dingwall
Note from the Chairperson, Nina Campbell
The next Puffin Pool User Group (PPUG) meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 25th June 2019 at the Highland Rheumatology Unit at 5pm. This group is important for all users of the pool as it provides an opportunity, four times a year, for you to share information, suggestions and ideas with staff, board members and other users. At the last meeting in April 2019 only one user, one board member and one member of staff attended. This was very disappointing, especially as flyers and a request went out on the electronic board in the waiting area of the pool, particularly asking carers to attend or pass on their comments regarding lifting and handling in the changing rooms. Admittedly, I am new to the role of Chairperson for the PPUG and forgot to put the details on the website for the April meeting.
The next Puffin Pool Annual General Meeting is on Thursday the 20th June, after which there will be information to pass on to interested users at the next PPUG meeting on the 25th June. The PPUG meeting is your opportunity to be involved and kept up to date with the developments and changes taking place at the Puffin Pool.
