In a celebration of 30 years since the Puffin Pool started, we asked our founding chairperson Dr Malcolm Steven to plant a new tree in our garden. Despite the weather's best attempts to thwart the occasion, we had volunteer board members past and present attend the ceremony, along with our lovely staff from the shop and pool, all while pool sessions were going on. We were delighted to receive a donation of £530 from Lodge Fingal recently. The Lodge ran a stall in September's Feil Maree (street fayre) that took place on Dingwall High Street. The donation of £530 represents their proceeds on the day. A number of volunteers from Lodge helped with erecting and dismantling the stalls on the High Street on the day, including the Puffin Pool Shop's stall, so we are grateful to everyone at the Lodge who took part and in the decision to donate
